Introduction

SJ101 Shenjiu quartz fiber yarn is continuous filament made from high-purity SiO₂ and natural quartz crystal. The SiO₂ purity is more than 99.95%. It is flexible inorganic fiber material with low dielectric constant and high temperature resistance properties. Quartz fiber yarn has unique advantages in aerospace & defence industries, which is a good substitute for E-glass, high silica, basalt, aramid and carbon fibers on some occasions. The linear expansion coefficient of quartz fiber is small. Its tensile modulus increases when temperature increasing, which is extremly rare feature of quartz fiber.

Performance

1. Low dielectric properties: Dielectric Constant(Dk) 3.74, Dissipation Factor(Df) 0.0002. Excellent wave-transparent material

2. Ultra-high temperature resistance, long lifetime at temperature of 1050℃-1200℃, softening temperature 1700 ℃. Thermal shock resistance, longer service life

3. Low thermal conductivity, small thermal expansion coefficient of 0.54X10-6/K, which is a tenth of ordinary glass fiber. Both heat-resistant and heat-insulated

4. High strength, no micro-cracks on the surface, tensile strength up to 3600Mpa, which is five times that of high silica fiber, 76.47% higher than that of E-glass fiber

5. Good electrical insulation performance, resistivity 1X1018Ω·cm~1X106Ω·cm at temperature 20 ℃ ~ 1000 ℃. An ideal electrical insulating material

6. Capable of long-term acidic, alkaline, high temperature, cold, stretching and other harsh working conditions, corrosion resistance

1. Wave-transparent material (radomes of aircraft & satellite, missiles, electronic countermeasure devices)

2. Stealth material (aircraft, missiles, drones, fighters, bombers, ships, submarines, etc.)

3. High-performance printed circuit board material(high frequency  & high-speed PCB materials)

4. Ablation-resistant material (spacecraft thermal protection material, missile exhaust pipes)

5. High temperature resistance, heat insulation material (aircraft engine and fuselage fire proof, semiconductors and optical fiber manufacturing)

6. High temperature resistant catalyst carrier material (vehicle exhaust gas treatment, industrial air purifier)

7. Glass manufacturing (insulation material for automobile glass tempering furnaces)

8. High temperature and fake skeleton reinforcing material
